Whether you're a novice or an experienced practitioner, Bujinkan Leeds welcomes all to join their training sessions. With a primary emphasis on enjoyment, the goal is to foster an increased understanding of this profound martial art. Step onto the training grounds for just £7 and experience it firsthand.

Bujinkan, an international martial arts organization headquartered in Noda, Japan, is led by the esteemed Dr Masaaki Hatsumi. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, the core training, draws from nine distinct schools or ryuha, encompassing the combat methods of both the Samurai and the Ninja. These schools, rooted in medieval Japan, predate many modern martial arts by centuries.

The curriculum covers a spectrum of disciplines, including koshijutsu (pressure points, muscle attacks, joint dislocations), koppojutsu (bone structure breaking), jutaijutsu (throwing, grappling, ground fighting), dakentaijutsu (striking), happo bikenjutsu (various weapons), and ninjutsu (ninpo tactics and strategies).

Under the guidance of Peter Sabourn, a seasoned instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience, Bujinkan Leeds instills a mindset focused on personal development. Sabourn's extensive travels to Japan, where he trained with the art's top masters, add a rich layer to the classes.

Embracing a philosophy of perpetual personal growth, Bujinkan Leeds encourages students to navigate the intricate possibilities of any situation. Devoid of competition or sporting elements, the emphasis lies on perseverance, responsibility, and an open mind. Join the sessions every Saturday at the Martial Arts Hut in Leeds and embark on a journey of self-discovery through the profound teachings of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.
