Unmissable Opportunity to Train with Kumogakure Ryu Master

Bujinkan practitioners have an extraordinary opportunity to train with two esteemed Japanese instructors this autumn. Furuta Sensei (Kumogakure Ryu 15th Soke) and Shoshi Nakagawa Sensei will be at the UK Taikai 2024. This highly anticipated event will take place on October 12-13th in Liverpool, offering a rare chance to learn from the best in the field.

Meet the Masters

Furuta Sensei started his Bujinkan journey in 1980 as a direct student of Soke Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. His dedication and mastery of the art earned him the prestigious Judan-Kugyo (15th Dan) in 2006. Outside the dojo, Furuta Sensei works as a cancer cell diagnosis specialist in a hospital, reflecting his meticulous nature and dedication to precision.

Shoshi Nakagawa Sensei will also be sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise during this event, making it an unmissable experience for all attendees.

Participants are encouraged to bring a soft hanbo and a rubber practice knife for the weekend's training sessions.

A Historic Venue

The seminar will be held at The Brittania Adelphi Hotel, a National Heritage Grade II listed building located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. With its rich history and grand Edwardian style, the Adelphi Hotel is a fitting venue for such a prestigious event. Opened in 1862 and reconstructed several times, the current building dates back to 1914. The hotel narrowly escaped bombing during World War II and has since been a landmark for travelers, including passengers of the Titanic.
